Moses had been a prince in Egypt, but now he was just a shepherd hiding in the desert. He probably thought his life of doing important things was over. But God heard the cries of the Israelite slaves and appeared to Moses in a burning bush. Moses was full of excuses, but God promised to be with him. This lesson teaches children that when God calls us to do something hard, we don't have to be perfect, because God will give us everything we need.
